NCAST, or the North Chicago and Shields Township Coalition, is a grassroots community anti-drug coalition, managed by LEAD and funded in part by a Federal Drug Free Communities Grant. NCAST works with all sectors of the communities within North Chicago and Shields Township, IL on environmental change strategies to prevent underage drinking and drug use. By collaborating with both adults and youth, our team and its partners aim to significantly reduce underage drinking and drug use among teens.
